MARGAO: Rachol Seminarians trounced Seraulim Parish Youth 3-0 in a football friendly match to mark the Vocation Day, at Seraulim church ground, Seraulim, on Sunday. Rachol Seminarians led 1-0 at the lemon break.
Rachol Seminarians started attackingly and did not allow their opposition to take control of the proceedings.
Bro. Richard Rodrigues, Bro. Clifford Fernandes and Bro. Franky Carvalho scored a goal each for Rachol Seminarians.
Seraulim Parish Youth tried hard to score but the strong rival defence left them frustrated throughout the proceedings.
Parish Priest of Seraulim church, Fr Eremito Coutinho and Episcopal Vicar of South Goa, Fr Lucio Dias handed over the trophy to the Rachol Seminarians.
