MARGAO: RMS Higher Secondary School, Margao shunted out MES Higher Secondary School by seven wickets to enter the final of the Zone III inter-higher secondary cricket tournament, organized by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, at SAG ground, Curchorem.
Batting first, MES HSS scored 141 for 5 in allotted 20 overs with Yogesh Naik top scoring with an unbeaten 54.
In reply, RMS HSS chased the target in 19th overs with seven wickets in hand.
Shivam Amonkar top scored with unbeaten 48 for RMS.

On Wednesday, RMS Higher Secondary School, Margao shunted out Damodar Higher Secondary School, Margao by three wickets to enter the semi-final.
Bating first, Damodar HSS scored 130 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
Swan Kenkre top scored with 36 runs for RMS HSS. Kartik Hattangadi and Saurabh Shetgaonkar shared two wickets each.
In reply, RMS HSS achieved the target by scoring 132 for the loss of seven wickets in 18 overs. Shivam Amonkar cracked 33 runs and he was well supported by Rohit Naik, who remained 27 unbeaten. Mayur Naik captured two wickets.
RSS will mow meet GVM Ponda in the semi-final.
