PANJIM: R M Salgaocar HSS and Deepvihar HSS, Vasco entered the final of all-Goa inter-higher secondary cricket tournament (ZONE III) organized by DSYA.
In the semi-finals, RM Salgaocar HSS beat MES HSS, Vasco by two wickets. MES scored 115/8 in 20 overs. Hemant Oli 27, Jayesh Ghjante 17, Rohit Quadri 14. Saish Kavlekar 3/14, Shivsagar Kashyap 2/21, Varad Dabholkar and Vivek Naik one wicket each.
In reply, RMS overhauled the tally in 18.5 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Shivsagar Kashyap 34, Saish Kavlekar 18, Vivek Naik 17 not out. Aehbook Ghadag 3/23, Ajaykumar Kevat 2/13, Shubham Naik 1/28.
In the other semi-final, Deepvihar defeated Rosary HSS, Navelim.
