Rozan Braganza opened the scoring for Rossman Cruz while Samson Fernandes equalized for Ambelim.

On Tuesday, a triple strike by striker Alvito Colaco helped Navelim Sporting Club to register a 5-3 victory over Young Strikers, Benaulim and advance into the quarter-finals.
Navelim Sporting Club held the upper hand in both the sessions and troubled the rival defence with sporadic raids.
Striker Alvito who was in the thick of action put his team into the lead in the very 2nd minute when he beat his marker and punted the ball to the far corner of the net.
With the early lead, Navelim Sporting Club lunched barrage of attacks and doubled the lead in the 20th minute when Alvito again punished the rival defence with clinical finish.
Deficit 0-2, Young Strikers went into attacking mode and fired couple of pot shots against the rival goal.
Xamaro Rodrigues reduced the lead in the 20th minute when he converted the spot kick after rival player handled the ball inside the penalty box. He made no mistake with the resultant spot kick to send the rival goalkeeper in wrong way.
Crossing over, the teams displayed attacking flair and in the 40th minute Elvis Baretto neutralized the lead.
Unfazed Navelim Sporting Club took over the control and created many forays inside the rival territory and in the 42nd minute Jason Pereira made it 3-2.
Four minutes later, Jason completed his brace with stiff grounder. Alvito, who was fulcrum in his team’s attack, completed his hat-trick when he punished the rival goalkeeper with a neat finish to give his team 5-2 cushion. With the time running out, Clinton Fernandes reduced the margin.
