RAIA: Sao Jose de Areal SC outwitted Fr Agnelo Youth Sports Club 4-0 to enter the quarter-finals of 50th Custodio memorial inter-village football tournament at Raia panchayat ground, Friday.
Aryan Carvalho put Areal into the lead in the 6th minute. Thereafter, Bersal Viegas and Myron Silva of Areal missed easy scoring chances.
Marcus Mascarenhas doubled the lead for Areal in the 47th minute. Marcus and Rayman Fernandes scored the third and fourth goals respectively.
Marcus of Sao Jose de Areal was awarded the man-of-the match prize by Luis Quadros.
