CANSAULIM: Salgaocar FC got the better of Churchill Brothers Sports Club with a 2-0 win in the semi-finals of GFA U-14 South Goa (playoff) match played here at the Dr T B Cunha-SAG ground, Cansaulim.
Salgaocar were leading 1-0 at half time. Defender Prasad Shinde playing forward put Salgaocar FC ahead off a melee in front of the Churchill Bros D area.
In the second half left winger Flan Crasto was on hand to give the finishing touches to a move by Michael and give Salgaocar victory.
CAC Cansaulim will now take on Salgaocar FC in the South Goa (playoff) final to be played on Tuesday at Cansaulim.
