MARGAO: Fine hat-tricks by Aaron Barreto, Cleine Da Costa and Levy Pereira ensured Salgaocar FC ran out comfortable 13-0 winners against Kevnem SC in a GFA U-16 league match played at the Seraulim ground, on Tuesday. The winners led 10-0 at the breather.
Levy hammered home in the third minute and Cleine smashed home a volley while Levy made it 3-0. Soon, it was 5-0 as Aaron Barreto found the back of the net. He scored his second and third goals in quick succession.
Levy completed his hat-trick as he drilled his shot low into the bottom corner and Frezer added another.
The tenth and last goal of the half saw Cleine complete his hat-trick as a short corner taken by Dylan to Ribhav saw the latter whip the ball in, for the Kevnem defense to clear only as far as Cleine on the edge of the box who let fly, finding the back of the net.
After the change of ends, Salgaocar lads scored through Sheldon, who finished calmly. Dylan then smashed one from inside the box having collected the ball from Levy.
However, with five minutes of play eft, Levy was given the marching orders for his second offense.
