While there was no clear standout players at Duler stadium, Mapusa; Nagoa ground witnessed plenty of them. There weren’t the regular goal scorers. Stephen netted a double and Selwyn and Fhezer also got on the score sheet with a strike apiece. But undoubtedly, it was Chaitan Komarpant who was instrumental in the win. The U-20 player was in thick of action against Guardian Angel SC. He didn’t miss many passes. He assisted in team’s second goal and unselfishly played throughout the game. Chaitan has earned lot of appreciation from some senior players wherein the termed the lad as the future star of the State. The player is a talented winger and with his pace and unpredictable runs, he makes it even more difficult for the opponents.
