Salgaocar SC scored an easy 5-0 win over Raia Sporting in a one-sided match of Kingfisher GFA Pro-League at Tilak maidan, here on Saturday.
Salgaocar led by a solitary goal at the breakm. Lester Fernandes and Alex Da Silva scored brace each while Rosario Fernandes added his name in the scorers list.
Raia had a smooth sailing until they conceded the first goal at the fag end of the first session when Lester Fernandes scored in the 35th minute.
After the change of ends, Raia have to blame themselves for repeated blunders by their custodian Agnelo Gomes as Salgaocar consolidated the lead scoring four more goals.
Alex Da Silva doubled the lead in the 50th minute after receiving a pass from Anthony Barbosa. Six minutes later Lester Fernandes scored his brace after he received a pass from Chandan Singh to make the scoreline 3-0.
Rosario Fernandes scored the fourth goal following a move initiated by Anthony Barbosa in the 81st minute and Alex Da Silva competed his brace in the injury time to hit last nail on Raia coffin.
