At fulltime, the teams were held to a 1-1 draw.
Untied FC Siridao started the match with flying colour and took the lead from a power-packed shot of Mayron.
Immediately, Samurai Boys mounted pressure on the rivals in search of an equalizer, in the run Anthony shot wide. United FC Siridao missed an open chance as Mayron’s shot hit the goalpost.
In the second half, Samurai Boys dominated the match. Anthony tried to net in but his stiff grounder was save by the United FC Siridao goalkeeper. Soon, Anthony was in form again and this time did not make a mistake to net the equaliser.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Samurai Boys converted five goals while Untied FC Siridao managed to score only two goals. The winners pocketed Rs 35,000 and runners-up had to be content with Rs 25,000.
Seby D’Souza (London) was the chief guest and gave away the trophies in the presence of Sarpanch Anthony Afonso.
