PANJIM: Sangolda Lightening made the light work of Adarsh Yuvak Sangh 3-1 in the GFA Third Division, at Poriat ground, Calangute, on Saturday.
Sangolda Lightening got the first goal at the half hour mark through Ashok C.
However, after scoring the first goal, Sangolda Lightening were a transformed side and dominated the play with quick passing and kept more of ball possession.
Saiesh Kudtarkar netted the second in the 39th minute for Sangolda Lightening as they led 2-0 at the break.
Crossing over, Sangolda Lightening continued their dominance and consolidated their lead through Uday Naik in the 67th minute.
Adarsh Yuvak Sangh showed some fighting spirit as they attacked in numbers. Their efforts were finally paid off in the 76th minute when Chilesh Pednekar pulled a goal back for the losing team.
