SANVORCOTTO-CUNCOLIM: SC Davorlim got the better of Mandopa SC 6-5 via the tie-breaker to move into the final of 10th Cuncolim Union inter-village rolling football tournament organised by Cuncolim Union, at Cuncolim ground, on Saturday.
SC Davorlim had the best chance in the 58th minute through Mark Cardozo but failed to convert. Three minutes later, Aulon Gomes of Mandopa SC’s power-packed shot failed to pop up into Davorlim net.
At the end of regulation time, both the teams failed to score. In the resultant tie-breaker, SC Davorlim netted through Paxton, Meclon, Mark, Venson, Joel and Robinson while for Mandopa SC Aulon, Denston, Maxton, Ronaldo and Presly were on target.
SC Davorlim will now meet the winner of CRC Chinchinim and YC Manora in the final.
