UGUEM: St Anthony Sports Club, Assolda defeated Tilamol United Sports Club 4-3 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of 17th Ugem Rising Club football tournament, at Ugem Rising Club ground, on Saturday.
Richard D’Sa netted the first goal of the match for St Anthony SC in the 34th minute. Later in the 44th minute, Felic Carvalho equalised for Tilamol United SC.
At the end of regulation time, St Anthony SC and Tilamol United SC were held to a 1-1 draw. In the resultant tie-breaker, St Anthony SC proved to be better shooters.
St Anthony SC Assolda will meet Uguem Rising Club in the quarter-final on October 25.
