SCC Cavelossim in semis

Santa Cruz Club of Cavelossim registered a fluent 3-1 win over Raia Sporting Club to enter the semi-finals of Muriel Faleiro memorial inter-village football tournament organised by Parish Youth, Nuvem at church ground, Nuvem on Friday. They were leading 2-0 at the breather.
Cavelossim dominated the proceedings and had a lion share of the exchanges with their forwards repeatedly raiding the rival Raia goal at regular intervals. Their aggressive raids paid dividends when striker Raju Cardozo punished the rival goalkeeper with a deft placement.
Cavelossim piled on the pressure, created a couple of forays and Alex Rodrigues doubled the lead with a snap shot.
Crossing over, Santa Crux Club continued in the same vein and Elloy Pereira rounded off ethe tally.
Raia Sporting Club managed to reduce the margin off Mauricio D’Souza.
