FATORDA: Sesa FA blanked Panchwadi United SC 4-0 in the Goa Football Association’s Airarabia U-18 League match played at Artificial Turf, Fatorda, on Wednesday.
Sesa FA started the match on an attacking note and soon shot into the lead in the 8th minute through Irfan Yadwad. Down by a goal, Panchwadi USC tried their level best to come back into the game as they tried a couple of shots at the rival goal, however, Sesa FA defended their citadel well until the half-time as they went into the breather with a goal advantage.
Post resumption, Sesa FA went on to net in their second goal of the match in the 50th minute after they curbed down the resilient Panchwadi side through Irfan Yadwad’s strike.
It was in the 76th minute that Sesa FA’s Mewton Fernandes netted the third goal of the match before Daaston Fernandes pulled the curtain down in the add on time as they tamed Panchwadi United.
