PANJIM: Shantesh Mhapsekar, Nagesh Verenkar, Anshuman Agarwal and Parv Rastogi moved into the Cadets Boys singles semi-finals at the All-Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis tournament, organized by Rotary Club of Panaji in association with the Sports Authority of Goa, at Indoor Stadium, Campal, on Wednesday.
In the quarter-final tie, Shantesh Mapshekar got the better of Aman Naik 11-9, 12-10, 11-1 while Anshuman Agarwal defeated Jayz Gomes 11-7, 7-11, 11-7, 18-16.
Parv Rastogi thumped Ved Sardesai in three straight sets with the scoreline reading 11-8, 11-4, 13-11. Nagesh Verenkar had a comfortable outing against Amogh Bawachikar, winning 11-2, 12-10, 11-4.
