PORVORIM: Sikkim finished the third day play against Goa on 331 for eight in their Ranji Trophy (Plate Group) match being played at the Goa Cricket Association academy ground in Porvorim on Wednesday.
Goa who were looking to bowl Sikkim were made to tire by Sikkim batsman Iqbal Abdulla who was not out on 99 and Dalzor Tang (32 n/o) at close of play.
Goa started the second day enthusiastically claiming six wickets with the score board on 58. However, Yashpal Singh 984) and Lee lepcha (29) steadied the innings and Iqbal made it difficult for the lads from Goa to break through their batting line up. Darshan Misal and Felix Alemao claimed three wicket each for Goa whilst the other two were shared by Heramb parab and Amulya Pandrekar.
Sikkim starts the third day with a lead of 31 runs.
