PANJIM: Sai Vidhya HS Torse got the better of Don Bosco HS Tuem to move ahead in the GCA U-16 boys Shri Dilip Sardessai tournament organized by GCA Pedne Zone played at Panchayat ground Varkhand Pernem here on Wednesday.
Electing to bat first, Don Bosco HS Tuem scored 77/10 in 25 overs. Ishan Kudav (14) and Nitesh Naik (12) top scored for the batting team. Badal Dhuri was the pick among the Sai Vidhya Mandir bowlers with the figures of 4 for 12.
In reply, Sai Vidhya Mandir HS Torse chased the target in just 12.1 overs. Vedant was the top scorer with 15 runs.
Aadhirya Parab took three wickets giving away 24 runs for Don Bosco.
Sai Vidhya Mandir HS Torse won by 6 wickets.
