CHINCHINIM: Sirlim SC edged past Betalbatim SC 3-2 to move into the semi-finals of the 21st Our Lady of Merces football tournament organised by Sirlim Sports Club at Our Lady of Hope church ground, Chinchinim, on Monday.
Sherwin Costa gave Betalbatim the lead in the 10th minute with a placement shot.
Aaron Antao equalised for Sirlim SC with a downward header.
Aaron Antao scored once again in the 33rd minute to double the lead Sirlim.
Sirlim SC further inflated the lead through Franky D’Souza in the 55th minute to make it 3-1.
In the 62nd minute, Selio Fernandes made it 2-3 for Betalbatim.
