PANJIM: Captain Snehal Kaunthakar’s unbeaten 148 runs in 141 balls helped Goa play an exciting tie with Punjab in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021 Group E match at the Metallurgical & Engineering Consultant Ltd Sail Stadium, Ranchi on Tuesday.
When invited to bat first, Punjab scored 288 for eight with centuries from Gurkeerat Singh Mann (105) and Anmolpreet Singh (101). Lakshay Garg took three wickets while FB Alemao, VM Prabhudessai, Amit Yadav and AG Pandrekar claimed one each.
