FATORDA: Snows Football Academy beat Goa Velha SC 4-1 in the Goa Football Association Air Arabia U-18 league played at Artificial Turf, Fatorda on Friday.
Newton Fernandes scored a brace for the winners scoring one in either half, in the 20th minute and the other in the 53rd minute. Oscar Souza scored another goal for the academy boys in the 34th minute while Aliston Costa made it 4-0 for the winners.
The Goa Velha side managed to pull one goal down through Ramesh Kunkolkar.
In another game played at Sirsaim ground, Goan FC beat Sesa Football Academy 3-0.
After a goalless first half, the gaurs took complete control of the game and managed to shoot into the lead through Flan Gomes neat finish in the 49th minute.
Kebin Almeida and Joybert Almeida added two more goasl in the last minutes as the Goan club stole the game from the academy team.
