Over 140 parish teams will participate and the final round will be held on May 6 and 7 at Saligao seminary ground.
T20 cricket tourney at Vasco
VASCO: The 3rd All-India Invitational Manda and Narayan Bandekar Charitable Trust T20 cricket tournament will be organized by Vasco Boys from April 13 to 21 at SAG ground, Chicalim.
In all, 16 teams will participate. The winners will be awarded a rolling trophy alongwith Rs 50,000. A rolling trophy and Rs 25,000 will be awarded to the runners-up.

Underarm cricket at Bhoma

Tennis tourney in Margao
MARGAO: The annual All-Goa BPS open tennis tournament organized by BPS Sports Club, Margao will be held from April 15 to 25 at BPS, tennis court, Margao.
The tournament will have men singles and doubles, ladies singles and doubles, boys (age group, singles and doubles); veterans above 45 years (singles and doubles).
Entry forms are available at the club office; Angleys, Margao and Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias, Mira Mar. The last date to submit entries is April 12 by 5 p.m.

Football tourney at Sao Jose de Areal
MARGAO: The 19th Sao Jose de Areal Villagers inter-village football tournament organized by Sao Jose de Areal Sports Club will be held from April 14 at Padribhat ground, Sao Jose de Areal.
Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 will be awarded.

Rapid chess tourney at Pilar
PANJIM: The All-Goa OLPS Cortalim open rapid chess tournament organized by Bambolim Chess Academy will be held on April 6 and 7at Fr Agnel College, Pilar, 9.30 onwards.
Nine rounds will be played in Swiss league system under FIDE rules. Registration with Goa Chess Association is compulsory.
