CORTALIM: Mix Friends of Cortalim will organise their 1st all-Goa 1-a-Side tie-breaker on February 4 at 7 p.m. near Vailankanni Chapel Sotrant, Cortalim. The winners will pocket Rs. 10,000 and the runner-up will get rs 7,000. Spot entries will be accepted.

MARGAO: Hosts Sports and Welfare Club of Zaino-Velim will meet Fr Agnel Youth Club, Paroda in the inaugural match of SWC Zaino inter-village football tournament on February 5 at Zaino ground, Velim.

Dramapur SC, St Rock’s YC Majorda, Parish Youth Nuvem, Navelim Villagers Union, Wilred Leisure SC, Curtorim, Sporting Club of Davorlim, Clube Sao Miguel de Taleigao, Verna SC, Sao Jose de Areal SC, Cuncolim Union, Goa Velha SC, Social Cultural Club of Loutolim, St Sebastian Sports and Maina SC are the other teams vying for the title.

The winners will be richer by Rs 40,000 while the runners- up will receive Rs 20,000.
