ASSOLDA-PARODA: St Anthony SC, Assolda registered a solitary goal win over Fr Agnelo Youth Sports Club, Paroda to move into the semi-finals of the 11th St Anthony Festival Cup organised by St Anthony Sports Club, Assolda, at Assolda Panchayat ground, on Friday.
Both teams started the match with forefront moves but both teams’ strikers lacked sharpness to score in the first half.
Later in the second half, a tricky solo move by Victorino Fernandes of St Anthony SC, Assolda gave them the lead as he netted the match winner in the 55 minute.
