Raymond D’Souza put Marna ahead but Assonora boys drew level in the 10th minute through Prajot Arabekar. Arnold Fernandes regained the lead for Marna with few minutes remaining for half time.
Changing over, Faizan Sheikh increased the lead in the 45th minute while Dalesh Pednekar scored another goal in the dying minutes.
Earlier, the tournament was kicked-off by ex-footballer from Saligao, Kashinath Kandolkar in presence of Elizabeth Daver, sponsor of the tournament and club president Eknath Oraskar.
