CHINCHINIM: St. Jude HS, Betalbatim thumped AIM English HS, Davorlim 5-1 in the U-16 UCV School Cup inter-school football tournament organised by Union of Chinchinim Villagers, at Chinchinm Church ground, on Tuesday.
Betalbatim scored in the third minute through Ashish Bage while Dilliram Adhikari doubled the lead in the 20th minute.
AIM reduced the margin through Aryan Novangi in the 19th minute.
In the second half, Sandeep Adhikari, Ashish Bage, Sohail Bepari found the net to take the final score to 5-1.
Ayan Novangi of AIM was named man-of-the-match.
In second match, Rosary HS Navelim registered a solitary goal win over Our Lady of Carmel HS, Curtorim.
Siddesh Chavan scored the match-winner in the 15th minute.
