St. Savio win
CALANGUTE(HC) – Savio Sports Club, Calangute trounced Margao Sports Club 3-1 to move into the semi-finals of V.M. Salgaoncar Trophy football tournament at Saligao ground, on Friday.
St. Savio took the lead in the 5th minute through Sherwin Lobo. Margao fought back and restored parity in the 10th minute through Cliff Barretto to make it 1-1 at half-time.
St. Savio regained the lead through Vijay Parsekar in the 7th minute and Bruno Coutinho made it 3-1.
