Needing just a draw to qualify for the play-off, Goan Warriors attacked from the start but it was St Sebastian who took the lead in the 14th minute through Naresh Parulekar off an assist by Steven.
Goan Warriors tried hard to equalize in the second session but failed to do so and missed out on the qualification.
In the Ilhas zone Group A match, at Pilar ground, Football Club Neura thumped Fr. Agnel Youth Club, Pilar 6-0.
Sadic Ahmad (2), Delton Antao, Vijay Morajkar, Clive Coelho and Brifton Da Gama were the scorers.
In Mormugao zone, Benfica Youth Club and Patrong Sports Club played a goalless draw.
Rising Stars Sports Club rallied to defeat Cortalim Villagers 3-1. Chandrasher Shiduguru scored a brace in the 85th and 87th minutes while Basu Rajan Harijan scored the equlaizer in the 80th minute for Rising Stars after Leslie Lucas had put Cortalim Villagers ahead in the 52nd minute.
