MAPUSA: St Xavier’s Higher Secondary School, Mapusa defeated DM’s Kushe Higher Secondary School Assagao by a 1-0 margin, in the Bardez Taluka boys U-17 Subroto Mukherjee football tournament, organised by DYSA, at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Saturday. The all-important goal was scored by Osrick Trindade
In the second semi-final, SFX Higher Secondary School, Siolim defeated St Anthony High School Monte Guirim via the tie-breaker 4-2.
At the end of the regulation time the teams were locked in a 1-1 draw.
