PANJIM: Wesley Do Rosario and Tanisi Kirtani excelled at the All Goa Adv Madhav Rao State Table Tennis Championship, organised by Goa Table Tennis Association in collaboration with Sports Authority of Goa at Campal Indoor Stadium, recently.
While Tanisi won the ladies, junior girls and sub-junior girls categories, Wesley clinched double crowns winning the men’s and junior boys finals.
In men’s final, Wesley beat Dheeraj Rai 4-0 and defeated Rutuj Sonawane 3-0 in the junior boys category final.
Tanisi defeated Prutha Parrikar 3-0 in the ladies final and beat Taniya Patil in the junior and sub junior category.
Akshan Lawande won the mini cadet boys final beating Aaron Farias 3-0, while Simran Kubal won the mini cadet girls final beating Trusha Hammanavar 3-0.
In the cadet boys final, Nagesh Verenkar beat Shantesh Mapsekar 3-2.
In the cadet girls final, Aaiya Arora beat Simran Kubal 3-0.
Nagesh Verenkar won the sub junior boys title defeating Shamtesh Mapsekar in the final.
