PANJIM: The Sports Journalist Association of Goa and Goa Tennis Ball Cricket Association in collaboration with Sports Authority of Goa will hold their 6th All-Goa inter press/media tennis ball cricket tournament on May 31, at SAG ground, Campal- Panjim.
The tournament will be played as per the rules and regulation of GTBCA and is recognised by Sports Authority of Goa.
The teams shall comprise of maximum 14 players and 2 officials (1 coach and 1 manager). The matches will be played on knock-out basis, only 9 players will be part of playing team on the field. The players should wear T-shirt in one colour and track pant with sports shoes.
The matches will be played with light tennis ball with maximum 6 overs.
The power four over will be an added attraction wherein the batsman can score maximum 8 runs on boundary (sixer not allowed in this over). This over is the choice of batting side and has to taken before the 4th over. The tournament will be supervised by the Technical and Umpiring Committee of GTBCA.
The successful teams and players will be awarded trophies and individual prizes.
