RAIA: The King’s School, Sao Jose de Areal, edged past Bethany Convent High School, Sao Jose de Areal vie tie-breaker 4-1 in the final of 26th Bro D O Slattery Memorial All Goa Inter School Football Tournament (Boys & Girls) organised by Regina Mundi High School, Chicalim, on Saturday.
Earlier in the first semi-final, The King’s School defeated Perpetual Succour Convent High School 3-1 via tie-breaker after Sharav Hiremath netted for The King’s High School and Jonas Gomes for Perpetual Succour Convent High School.
In the second semi-final, Bethany Convent High School, Sao Jose de Areal defeated Loyala High School, Margao, vie a tie-breaker 5-4.
For third place, Prepetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim, defeated Loyala High School, Margao. Jonas Gomes and Daison Colaco netted for the winners.
Meanwhile, Fatima Convent High School, Margao, defeated Assagao Union High School vie a tie-breaker 3-2.
