MARGAO: Trinity Primary School, Curtorim edge past Our Lady of Health High School, Cuncolim 4-3 via the tie-breaker in the All-Goa Fr Faustino Memorial 9-a-side inter-school football tournament for Boys U-10, at Perpetual Succour Convent High School ground, Navelim, recently. Trinity Primary School emerged winners for the second consecutive year.
Technical Director of Dempo Sports Club, Katz Naidoo was the chief guest and gave away the prizes in the presence of Guest of honour, Sr Santana Goes (SFN), Headmistress of Perpetual Succour Convent High School. All the former teachers of the school were special invitees. A total of 16 schools participated in the tournament.
The Best defender trophy was awarded to Kiran Gaunkar of Our Lady of Health High School Cuncolim; Highest scorer was awarded to Johan D’Souza of Trinity Primary School ,Curtorim and the Best player trophy was awarded to Mafraz Shaikh of Our Lady of Health High School, Cuncolim.
