UB-40, Cris Boys in finals

UB-40 of Colva defeated Ronishka Boys, Vasco via the sudden-death 2-1 in the semi-finals of Fr. Gervasio Pinto memorial football tournament organised by Angel Boys of Curchorem at Figureiredo ground on Thursday.
During the regular time UB-40 missed a couple of chances due to poor performance of their forwards.
In the sudden death, Olvik and Herculan scored for UB-40 and Michael scored for Ronishka.
In the first semi-finals, Cris Boys defeated Star Boys, Quepem via the tie-breaker 3-2. During regular time the score was 1-1.
Now UB-40 will play Cris Boys, Curchorem on November 14 at 4.30 p.m. on the occasion of feast of Guardian Angel, Curchorem. There will be a girls football exhibition game between Jina XI, Curtorim and Guardian Angel XI, Curchorem.
