PANJIM: Unlucky Arjuna edged past Seasonal Palem 3-2 to storm into the quarter-finals of the Trawler Owner’s Cup floodlit football tournament, organized by Siridao Sports Club, at River Plate ground, Siridao, on Sunday.
Seasonal Palem were leading 2-0 in the first session. They surged ahead in the 25th minute through Prasahit, who soon secured his brace.
Crossing over, Unlucky Arjuna started afresh and pulled a goal back through Nehal while Denzil made it 2-2. With three minutes to go for the final whistle, Unlucky Arjuna sealed win through a goal by Mahesh.
