TALEIGAO: United Sports Club of Mardol scored an easy 4-1 win over Odxel Sports Club in the Goa Football Association Second Division League Ilhas Zone match played at Taleigao ground, on Sunday.
Mardol were clearly the dominant side as they outplayed their opponents in all departments of the game.
From passing to ball possession, Odxel struggled to keep up with their opponents.
Mardol took the lead in the 14th minute through Shubham Mhadolkar. Bhavesh Kerkar made it 2-0 in the 38th minute to give his side a two-goal cushion at the break.
Crossing over, Shanoor Gauns further inflated the tally to 3-0 in the 54th minute.
Odxel SC capitalised on a rare opportunity against a run of play through Naresh Divkar but the goal couldn’t motivate the camp for a dream comeback as Raunak Mandrekar netted the fourth for USC Mardol in the 90+3 minute.
