RAIA: Varca beat Maina Sports Club 4-2 via the the tie-breaker to enter the quarter-finals of inter-village football tournament at Dando ground, Benaulim, Thursday.
The first half saw Maina’s Jameson and Milagres displaying great teamwork, but they couldn’t convert their efforts into goals. The second half witnessed Maina going on the offensive, putting pressure on Varca’s goalkeeper Francisco, who made some remarkable saves.
