VILLA-MAREX-CHANDOR: Varca Veterans outplayed Curtorim Veterans 7-6 via the tie-breaker and moved into the semi-finals of the Villa Marex Veterans soccer, at Villa Marex ground, Chandor, on Sunday.
Abel N Naryan opened the score-line for Curtorim in the fifth minute but the joy was short-lived as Raju equalised for Varca in the 38th minute.
In the tie-breaker, Varca Veterans proved to be better shooters.
Varca Veterans will now meet Fatorda Veterans in the semi-finals on November 27.
