PANJIM: Verna Sports will cash with Pilerne Sports Club in the inaugural match of Taleigao Panchayat Cup organised by Clube Sao Miguel de Taleigao on September 12, Dr Remegio Pinto ground, Taleigao, at 4.30 p.m.
Other participating teams are St Anthony Sports Club, Colva, United Club of Benaulim, Goa Velha Sports Club, Calangute Association, Nerul Sports Club and hosts Clube Sao Miguel de Taleigao.
Cash prizes of Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 will be awarded to the winners and runners-up respectively, besides individual prizes.
The final is schedule on September 29, on the occasion of the feast of St Michael.
