RAIA: Verna SC moved into the semifinal after defeating St Anthony Colva, 3-1, in the 1st Antonio Rebelo memorial organised by Curtorim Gymkhana, at DSYA ground, on Friday.
Verna SC scored the first goal through Salvador Gama in the second minute. Colva could have equalised but Colva’s Samson Gomes shot went wide. Verna SC scored the second goal through Salvador Gama in the 21st minute.

In the second half, Verna SC scored the third goal through Andrus John in the 43rd minute. St Anthony Colva pulled one goal back through Beevan Goes in the 50th minute. Match ended 3-1 in favour of Verna SC. Salvador Gama (Verna SC) was awarded man-of-the-match and Kabir Khan (St Anthony Colva) best defender of the match at the hands of Luis Azavedo (ex-treasurer member Curtorim Gymkhana)
