PANJIM: Verna SCA beat Baina SC 3-1 in the U-14 league organised by Goa Football Association, played at Artificial Turf, Fatorda.
Mohit Pandit, Akif Sayed and Mysler Braganza scored for the Verna side while Jagdish Chauhan pulled one down for the Baina team.
In another game, United Boys of Palolem defeated Canacona SA 4-1, at Ambelim ground.
Elroy Cardozo scored a brace and Peatham Pagui and Uddesh Nail scored one each. For Canacona SA reduced the deficit.
