PANJIM: Sports Authority of India (SAI) Sports Hostel ex-footballers will play an exhibition football match against Candolim Veterans at Dr Gustavo Monteiro Stadium, Candolim on February 3, at 5 p.m. The SAI Sports Hostel batch of 1987 to 1991 is coming together after 27 years since SAI Sports Hostel inception in 1987.
Following are the SAI team players: SAI captain and ex-International footballer Frankie Mascarenhas, Caetano Pinho, Victor Lobo, Hillary Soares, Shaikh Aboo, Basil D’Douza, Alexander Fernandes, Gavin Araujo, Ankush Kalagutkar, Benedict Fernandes, Arnaldo Gomes, Christopher Fernandes, Anthony D’Souza, Stanley Colaco, Nelson Fernandes –all former National players along with SAI Coach Sushil Diwakar will play against Candolim Veterans team led by Francis Fernandes (Dhondu).
