SOLVA-RAIA: Vidya Vikas Academy scored a hard fought 2-1 win over Fr Agnel Multipurpose HS in the First U-13 Chowgule Sports Centre Futsal League at Chowgule Futsal ground.
Warren Rodrigues and Bevan scored for Vidya Vikas Academy while Daiwik scored for Fr Agnel HS. The teams were deadlocked 1-1 at half-time.
Infant Jesus HS Colva recorded their first win with a thumping 8-1 victory over St Jude HS Betalbatim. Manglesh Bannikopa, Rahul Sherpali and Shenoy Fernandes scored a brace each while Farman Haravi, Rishikesh Madiwal scored a goal apiece. Mahesh Kuppatagiri scored a consolation for St Jude.
Loyola HS leapfrogged Rosary HS to the summit of the table with a well deserved 5-0 victory. Rosary were wasteful in front of goal while the sharpness of Loyola in finishing propelled them to victory. Reuben Barbosa scored a hat-trick and Andreas Furtado scored a brace for the winners.
Round 4 ended with a fiery contest between Manovikas English Medium School and YFA who came back from two goals down to win 3-2. Yohann Sousa and Eric Telles scored for Manovikas while Trond Dias, Aaryav Da Costa and Elrad Braganza scored for YFA.
