PANJIM: Sanquelim Shuttlers in collaboration with the Goa Badminton Association will be organising their women’s doubles tournament on December 12 and 13 at Multipurpose Stadium, Sanquelim.
Speaking about the event, Yeshwant Desai, President, Sanquelim Shuttlers said, “The aim of organising tournaments is to provide platforms for talented emerging players to showcase their skills and help them in providing exposure to more and more competitions which will ultimately help them to improve and improvise further in Badminton.”

In addition to the 20 doubles pairs who will compete, there are also on-spot events, competitions and felicitations that have been lined up with an all-round focus on boosting women empowerment through sport.
Earlier, Yeshwant Desai was unanimously elected as President of Sanquelim Shuttlers and Kunal Khanvilkar as Secretary for upcoming 4 year term.
