Vayne shines for SCS Poitomado; Dadapeet, Roydon star for UC Verna

MAPUSA/RAIA: YSC Colvale ended their campaign in the Goa Football Association Division III League Bardez Zone Group B match on a winning note as they drubbed Sirsaim Sports and Cultural Club by 6-2 margin played at Assanora ground, on Thursday.
YSC Colvale took the early lead in the very 2nd minute through Suraj Anvatti and in the 5th minute Cyrus made in 2-0. Nathan Pereira scored the third goal with a brilliant header.
Thereafter, it was John Mendonca all the way scoring a brilliant hat-trick scoring in the 29th, 35th and 76th minute. Sirsaim SCC reduced the margin scoring through Gautam Gaonkar and Bjorn Coelho. YSC Colvale fielding a youth side narrowly missed on a play-off spot standing third in the group.
Meanwhile, United Ucassaim, Ucassaim SC, FC Siolim, Vintage 73 SC, Goa United Sports Academy, Penha de France SC, Siddeshwar SC and Eagles SC have qualified for the Bardez Zone play-offs.
At Avedem ground, Santa Cruz Society Poitomado scored a 4-0 comfortable win over Chandor Club. Substitute Vayne Pires scored a brace, while Viraj Velip and Shankar Gaundar netted a goal each for SCS Poitomado.
At Verna panchayat ground, United Club of Verna scrapped past Futebol Club YFA 5-3. Dadapeet Patil and Roydon Rego scored braces, while Aditya Kumar scored the other goal for UC Verna. Adler Teles scored a hat-trick for Futebol Club YFA.
