In the first semi-final, Narayan Zantye College won by 160 runs against Fr Agnel College, Pilar.
Battling first, Zantye College scored 213/1 in 20 overs. Divya Naik (81*) and Roopam Sancoalkar (69*) were the top scorers. Jovina Menezes (1/38) was at her best.
In reply, Fr Agnel were bowled out for 53 in 15.5 overs. Karuna Kankonkar (13) and Bindiya Kavlekar (14) scored. Varsha Gawas (3/20), Pooja Usapkar (2/7) and Snehal Sheth (1/0) rattled the rival batting line up.
In another semis, MES College, Zuarinagar won by 49 runs against St Xavier.
MES batted first and scored 118/7 in 20 overs. Pranita Koegaonkar scored 32 runs.
Sonali Gaundar (1/18), Sheral D’Mello (2/15) and Ketki Naik (2/27) bowled well.
In their chase, St Xavier were bowled out for 69 in 17.5 overs. Ketki Naik (14) and Joyleen Rodrigues (11) top scored. Pranita Korgaonkar (5/4), Madhu Giri (3/9) and Monica saroj (2/24) were the wrecker-in-chiefs.
