Siolim Sodiem Sports and Cultural Association pipped Nerul Sports Club 5-4 via the tie-breaker after both teams failed to score at regulation time to book their place in the finals of 5th Reira Cup inter-village football tournament organised by Saligao Sporting Club at Sporting ground, Saligao on Wednesday.
Both teams began on a positive note but failed to score at regulation time.
In the first half, Raghuvir missed a sitter for Siolim while Leroy’s shot hit the Siolim goal post in the second half.
Siolim got the better of Nerul 5-4 via the tie-breaker. Ryan, Prestonio, Francis, Dylan and Sushant converted for Siolim while Adbul, Sarvesh, Deepraj and Felix were on target for Nerul.
