PANJIM: The Town & Country Planning has prima facie found that the construction activity, which is blocking access road to the house of a local at Gandaulim, is a misrepresentation by the concerned person who purchased the property.
A statement issued by the TCP Minister’s office stated that Goa Forward Party has once again proved that it aims to work for the sake of downtrodden and needy people.
“Party’s Chief Vijai Sardesai swung into action, within hours of media report claiming that an OBC family from Colva needed help to save the access to ancestral home being blocked by one person. Acting swiftly TCP Minister asked TCP to issue show cause notice to the person who had blocked the access to the poor OBC family to their house,” the statement reads.
Sardesai telephonically spoke to social activist Judith Almeida, Benaulim MLA Churchill Alemao and also held a meeting with Colva police, Chief Town Planner Rajesh Naik and other TCP officials to discuss this matter.
“Let all know that no Goemkar will face injustice under my watch” said Vijai.
