Sattari temple burgled

VALPOI, OCT 29 Burglars decamped with cash from Brahamadev Seva Samiti, Bhrahmakalmali-Sattari, on Thursday night. In his complaint, Brahamadev Seva Samiti, Bhrahmakalmali-Sattari, President Sandeep Pandurang Kelkar told Valpoi Police that some unknown persons broke open the main door of the temple and decamped with the cash from the donation box.

Burglars decamped with cash from Brahamadev Seva Samiti, Bhrahmakalmali-Sattari, on Thursday night.
In his complaint, Brahamadev Seva Samiti, Bhrahmakalmali-Sattari, President Sandeep Pandurang Kelkar told Valpoi Police that some unknown persons broke open the main door of the temple and decamped with the cash from the donation box.
Kelkar further stated that the theft might have occurred on Thursday night and the incident came to light on Friday at about 10 am when the sweeper noticed the main door of the temple open.
The complainant has also stated that the broken lock and the empty cash box were thrown away a few metres from the original position.
The complainant on behalf of the Seva Samiti has requested the police to intensify patrolling at Brahmakalmali to provide security to the Brahmadev temple.
