Sporting Clube of Davorlim maul Macasana; Canacona win

First half goals from Drynan Pereira and Pandurang Korgaonkar were enough to give Sirsaim Sports and Welfare Club the edge as they defeated Football Clube de Sanquelim 2-1 in GFA’s Third Division at St Christopher ground on Monday.
Drynan netted in the 12th minute to put Sirsaim ahead. Pandurang doubled the lead in the 29th.
Sanquelim put up a good fight after the breather. In the 59th, Ismael Savonur scored a consolation goal.
Although Sanquelim lost, they had the last laugh as they took the second play-off place.
This was the last match of Group C. BAFF finished first with 13 points followed by Sanquelim with 9 points. Sirsaim finished on 9 points but had an inferior goal difference. Colvale finished fourth also on 9 points. St Christoher Sports Club collected 3 points, while Eagle Sports Club finished last having lost all their matches.

A. de Moira at Quitula ground was postponed just before kick off as the Match Commissioner felt it was not in a suitable The matches between CDJ Ribander and Aivao United FC and Cabesa Sports and Cultural Club and Nauxim Sports Club were postponed due to heavy rains.
Sporting Club of Davorlim hammered Macasana Welfare Club 13-3. Macasana scored through Terence Miranda (4, 85), Paxton Gomes (7, 56, 58), Piedade Colaco (27, 28), Agnelo Colaco (36, 79, 80), Ronnie Furtado (83), Braz Vales (86), Telu Raikar (87).

Canacona Sports Academy beat Davorlim Sports Club 2-1. Prashant Goode (29), Kevin Dias (65) scored for Canacona. Arnaldo D’Costa (73) netted for Davorlim.
Cross Boys beat Patrong 2-0.
Raitura beat Arlem YA 4-1. David Barbosa (4, 32), Nelson Colaco (29, 53) scored for Raitura. Ashley D’Souza (68) scored for Arlem.
